A ‘foodie destination’ located in the beautiful Moreton Bay region, The Golden Ox is well-known for their chef-inspired fare, with head chef Peter Tzimas holding numerous accolades for his signature dishes and ever-evolving creations.
The Summer Sensations menu playfully infuses tropical flavours with ‘land and sea’ favourites (such as Prawns, Scallops, Barramundi, Beef and Duck) to deliver contemporary Australian cuisine with flair.
Seasonal produce in generous serves offers a ‘discovery for the palate’, with distinctive tastes of the region (such as hints of Mango, Ginger, and Macadamia) informing a menu that is indicative of the Bayside way of life. Seafood lovers rejoice!
Here’s a sneak-peak of what you can expect from the Summer Sensations menu:
- “Herb and Macadamia crusted Moreton Bay Prawn Cutlets” chilli ginger dipping sauce mango ,cherry tomato and feta salad
- ‘Beef and Prawns – eye fillet medallion with garlic grilled prawns, parmentier potato, roast tomato and broccolini, Bearnaise sauce.
- ‘Barramundi and Prawns’ – Grilled Barramundi Fillet, Grilled Whole Moreton Bay Prawns, Mash Potato, sautéed greens, with a splash of Lemon Beurre Blanc.
- ‘Chinese BBQ Duck & Scallops’ – Chinese BBQ Breast of Duck accompanied with Grilled Half-Shell Scallops, served with Asian Greens.
