A WINTER TREAT
Save the date – our next Wine Degustation event has been set for Friday, June 5, and we’d love you to join us for an unforgettable winter treat.
We’re thrilled to be teaming up with Grant Burge Wines, whose quality range will complement five exciting courses specially created for the occasion by head chef Peter and chef de cuisine Shannon.
A caramelised onion and goat’s cheese tart with fig and rocket salad and bush pepper berry crème fraiche will be paired with the Heir Apparent Chardonnay Pinot NV for the first course.
Next, the vineyard’s 5th Generation Pinot Gris 2013 will be served with a confit duck roulade, pickled mushroom, chestnut farce and avocado salsa.
Hervey Bay scallops will follow, teamed with the Vineyard Series Thorn Riesling 2014, and char grilled berbere-spiced Cape Byron sirloin will come with the Vineyard Series Miamba Shiraz 2013.
The event will end on a sweet note with an exquisite 10-year-old Muscat accompanying a steamed whiskey and raisin chocolate pudding.
