On Sunday, 13 May 2018 we will be joining millions of people around the world to celebrate “Mother’s Day” where Head Chef, Peter Tzimas and his kitchen team have crafted a delicious menu that includes fresh Mooloolaba Prawns, Chicken Breast filled with Brie and a traditional Pavlova for dessert.
Some mothers will receive roses and extravagant gifts, others will be given hand-made trinkets made with love by their kids at school and some will get burnt toast with weak tea in bed for breakfast. And some lucky mothers will be treated to an amazing day out at The Golden Ox Restaurant, located on the Redcliffe Peninsula, where they will enjoy a delicious 2 or 3 course meal.
The hardest part of mum’s day at the award-winning restaurant will be whether to order the Macadamia Barramundi or Lamb Rump for her main! Although that choice will be followed by another important decision – will she select the Vanilla Bean Crème Brulee for dessert or perhaps the Banana Crepes with fresh caramelised banana, chocolate sauce, fresh cream and peanut butter gelati?
