The Golden Ox is thrilled to have been awarded a 2014 Certificate of Excellence by the prestigious travel website, TripAdvisor. The achievement signifies the family-owned and operated restaurant, on the Redcliffe Peninsula, has consistently earned outstanding feedback from TripAdvisor travellers.
The award is based on reviews and opinions made by guests over the past year.
The Golden Ox owners Nick and Virginia said they were humbled with their latest honour.
“The award belongs to the entire team and shows their dedication to the hospitality industry, ‘’ Nick said.
“It means so much to us that guests go to the trouble of writing reviews to tell others about their experiences at The Golden Ox. We really appreciate the feedback.”
Head chef Peter Tzimas said he was chuffed guests enjoyed their meals so much, they wrote about them afterwards.
“It gives everyone in the kitchen a real lift,” he said.
Earlier this year, The Golden Ox was voted the most popular restaurant in Brisbane by readers of the Australian Good Food & Travel Guide and received Dimmi awards for Fine Dining (regional) and Special Occasions.
