Chef Peter has just finished putting the final touches on the next 5 course Wine Degustation. A perfect gourmet menu served on the night with 5 fantastic matching wines.

As you know, each of the five courses that are served on the night is accompanied by 5 elegant Brown Brother’s wines. Our first course is a Hiramasa Ceviche served with avocado mousse, salmon pearls, sweet potato crisps accompanied by the Patricia Pinor Noir Brut. Our second course is potato gnocci with three cheese sauce, tallegio cheese and pinenuts accompanied with the Patricia Chardonnay. The thrid course for the evening will be NT Barramundi with shaved spring vegetables, carrot jam and lime butter accompanied with the Tamar Ridge Sauvignon Blanc. Peter’s fourth dish is lamb shoulder served with portabella and porcini mushroom mousse, greens and red wine jus accompanied with the Patrica Shiraz. The last course for the evening is a vanilla bean burlee served with apricot coulis, black cherries and boudoir sponge accompanied with the Patricia Noble.
Joining us on the night will be Andrew Harris, the wine maker for Brown Brothers. He is a well-known and very well respected wine professional as well as one of the most knowledgeable in Australia. In 1995 he joined the Epicurean team where he brought his own passion for food and wine. After travelling throughout Asia and Europe he later on began working with the Brown Brothers winemaking team on the 2001 and 2002 vintages. He then later successfully undertook a Wine Technology and Viticulture degree. In 2006 he obtained the position of Wine Educator which later changed to Wine Ambassador.
