Situated on the beautiful Redcliffe Peninsula for over 40 years the Golden Ox is a family owned and operated business and one of South East Queensland’s iconic dining and events landmarks.
Owners Nick and Virginia Tzimas, together with son Peter and their highly dedicated team, share a passion for great food and first class service.

Award winning Head Chef, Peter Tzimas, and his team prepare menus that make our restaurant the perfect place to share a meal, enjoy delicious food or plan/host your special event.

Our iconic venue, which has won numerous awards, offers picturesque wedding gardens and a choice of modern function rooms.

The Regency Room, stunning and intimate, can accommodate up to 75 guests whilst our larger, recently refurbished Grande Room can comfortably take up to 110 guests. For guests with larger groups, we can combine these two beautiful rooms to seat up to 250 people.

We offer fully inclusive packages for every budget, to make planning your wedding enjoyable and stress free. All menus include our scrumptious, modern cuisine accompanied by a comprehensive selection of drinks.

We have dedicated and experienced events staff who will make sure that your wedding, corporate function or special event runs seamlessly, allowing you to sit back, relax and enjoy.
