Established on the beautiful Redcliffe Peninsula for over 38 years, the Golden Ox is a family owned and operated business and one of South East Queensland’s iconic dining and events landmarks.

Owners Nick and Virginia Tzimas, together with son Peter and their highly dedicated team, share a passion for great food and first class service. Our exciting and inventive menu boasts the delights of fresh local produce, and has become renowned for modern Australian cuisine with a classic twist. Prepared by award winning chefs Peter Tzimas (Head Chef), Shannon Farmer (Chef de Cuisine) and their team, the Golden Ox is the perfect place to share a meal or plan your special event.

Our award-winning venue also offers picturesque wedding gardens for your private gathering and a choice of modern, newly refurbished function rooms. The Regency Room can accommodate up to 75 guests, our larger Grande Room can comfortably accommodate up to 110 guests or the two spaces can be combined to seat up to 250 guests.

A dedicated events staff are on site, so you can leave the function organising to our team and rest assured that your wedding, corporate function or special event will run seamlessly, allowing you to sit back and enjoy.

The Golden Ox also offers fully inclusive packages to make planning your wedding enjoyable and hassle-free. All menus include our delicious, modern cuisine accompanied by a comprehensive selection of drinks. There are no hidden extras and we pride ourselves on being able to create a menu package to suit all event requirements and budgets.
